  I went back in yesterday with a friend and she helped me select an appropriate helmet.

  I went in asking for help selecting a bike helmet. I admitted that I had a coupon from my new citibike membership that was for $10. They told me they weren't a retailer for that but I had checked the website before coming and they were on the list. Then they tried to tell me that it was for 10% not ten dollars.They pointed me in the direction of a few helmets and told me to try them on. I selected one that appeared to match the coupon. I went to the register and the guy rang it up for 10% off, halving my discount, so I asked him if he could correct it.
  
  They let me walk out with a toddler helmet with no box. They kept my coupon. I'm going back to make sure they correct this.
  
  I walked in admitting my ignorance and asking for help and was met with dismissive snobbery. It wasn't even busy. They just didn't care.
  
  I hope I can edit this review and that they can turn this story around. I commute to work via citibike and I need safety equipment that works.
