  My girlfriend and I took a day escape trip with DBA this past Sunday and had a blast. Dave and his team of licensed guides (Mike/Austin) and assistant guide Christine were all awesome, knowledgeable and entertaining. They have the details well thought out and somehow kept the hike balanced and fun for everyone despite a variety of skill levels. As an advanced hiker I did not feel held back by the mixed group because the knowledge of these guys kept me learning new things as we hiked and it was clear to see that the beginners in the group were comfortable too. Definitely coming back for more trips with DBA.

  I had THE BEST day on DBA's Frozen Waterfalls day hike in the Catskills. The hiking was very manageable/quite easy for anyone relatively fit with some hiking experience but seeing & experiencing the waterfalls in all their frozen glory was spectacular. There were 6 hikers plus our guide Dave and his two assistants AJ & Bridget and everyone got along like a house on fire. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and fun and his passion for the outdoors is infectious. I think he could probably answer any question you had about the Catskills, New York or hiking more broadly. I can't wait to head out on more hikes with DBA - starting this Sunday.
