  I have used this gym for a year or two now. I would suggest that you never do more business with them than you need to, since their business practices are pretty slimy, frankly.
  I made the mistake of signing up for a personal training package last fall. The head personal trainer sat with me, talked to me about what I was buying, and handed me his iPad to sign with my finger.
  I used the personal training package for a month before deciding that it didn't work out with my erratic work schedule. I told the head trainer that I wanted to cancel, and that's when things got ridiculous. He started to talk about everything that was in the fine print which I had agreed to. Lots of really important information which he had conveniently never mentioned before. Apparently, you can't cancel until paying for 2 months. So fine, I paid for two months, and then he said that he would cancel. When I got a charge on my credit card for a third month, he told me essentially that it was my own fault since "as previously stated" (he never stated it; it must have been in the fine print on his iPad) I needed to cancel 10 days before the end of the billing cycle.
  Basically, I've paid for three months and I only used one. Now he's saying that he'll "submit a request" for my concerns to be addressed, since no one at the franchise can process my cancelation and refund request without corporate support.
  What a scam. Just pay $10/month for the conveniently located facility and never give them a cent more.
  
  Update: It's a month later, and I'm being charged for a FOURTH month of personal training (after I only used one). I'm disputing this with my credit card company because I'm not getting anywhere trying to work things out with Crunch.

  I love Crunch Crown Heights. I’ve been a dedicated member since December of 2014. The equipment is top notch and the trainers and staff (most of them) are hands on. Always willing and ready to assist.
  Anyway, I didn’t come here to boast about the gym itself. I’m here to boast about one particular trainer, Melvin Robertson Jr. He is hands down the BEST trainer. He knows his clients, he knows and caters to their needs and he is well mannered. With him I lost 21lbs in two months and with his training in the CAMP CRUNCH classes I’ve managed to maintain a healthy weight, stay fit and well toned. The workouts are pretty intense and even on a light day you feel the burn. The burn that lets you know what you’re doing is working. You can never get bored as his circuits are always very diverse. He pushes us to the limit and to be quite honest, the day he leaves CAMP CRUNCH or Crunch for that matter I will be gone too and I know many if not all of his clients will be following him.
  Thank you Melvin for what you’ve done and continue to do for Crunch Crown Heights and Crunch as a whole. Thank you for the constant motivation and the reminder that “You get out what you put in! Never say you can’t do something!”

  Isidro Montero and Joseph Guerrero, the managers at the gym informed me that I would get one free month if I signed up. That was back in November 2017. To this date, 4 months later, they have repeatedly been telling me that I would get a free credit, but this has never happened. As a matter of fact, at this point they don’t even reply back to my emails. Be warned.
  
  Also, if you do decide to sign up, be advised that you can get a managers discount for 89.99 a month. Also, if you negotiate hard enough, you can get personal training sessions down to almost half the initial quoted price.
  
  Anyways, I just can’t believe that they could have such a shady business practice in place. No accountability and very unprofessional.
