  I made an appointment to get some simple anti-biotics back in November. I called at 8:30 in the morning and they said they had an opening at 9:15. I live just down the street so I went up and the place was packed. I ended up waiting 3.5 hours to see a someone. As it turns out, the person that I made an appointment with wasn't even in that day, so I have no idea why they said there was a 9:15 opening. I didn't even end up seeing a doctor. I saw a nurse and when I asked if this wait time was normal, she said it was pretty standard.
  The worst part was I asked them to check my insurance and asked if I would have to pay anything, as this was my first time using this insurance. The woman at the front desk said it wouldn't cost me anything. I even asked on the way out to make sure, as I would rather wait it out then pay for a visit. Two months later, I get a bill for over $200. It is illegal to tell someone that they will not be charged anything and then ask for payment after the service has been received.
  I called to speak with the billing department and got nowhere. I don't go to the doctor often, but it sucks for them that I will now never go back.
